Two suspects broke into a gun store in Rockville, Maryland, Thursday morning and stole 30 guns in just 90 seconds, video shows.
Surveillance footage from the United Gun Shop on Randolph Road shows two people dressed all in black barge into the store and smash glass display cases with crowbars.
They stuff the guns into black bags and then move on to the racks on the walls. An alarm goes off as they work. Then, they calmly walk out of the store.
The suspects, who entered before 4 a.m., made off with about 24 handguns and 6 long guns, officials in Montgomery County said.
An alarm alerted police to the crime. Officials said the suspects were in the store for just 90 seconds.
"It was a little nerve-racking coming to work this morning and seeing all the police officers and police cars," said Ilan Fulop, who works next door.
"A lot of desperate people out there," a locksmith said as he repaired the entrance.
Investigators believe the suspects left the scene in a light-colored, four-door sedan.
The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives is assisting Montgomery County police in the investigation.
