A Maryland inmate is facing new charges.
He was indicted Tuesday, accused of threatening President Barack Obama and a Maryland federal judge, The Washington Post reported.
Willie Ray Bryant, 40, is serving a 40-year sentence for armed robbery.
According to the Courthouse News Service, Bryant mailed a letter in October 2010 that included a threat to harm the president
"I just hope Allah grants me the opportunity to be the one who chops off your head," he allegedly wrote. "If I ever ever get out I promise you I'm coming after you."
One month earlier, Bryant allegedly mailed a letter to U.S. District Judge William Quarles Jr. "containing a threat to injure him with a mailed explosive device," the indictment states.
