Man Injured in Alexandria Hotel Shooting Has Died, Police Say

A man injured in a shooting at an Alexandria, Virginia, hotel has died, becoming the city's first homicide of the year, police said Monday. 

Desmond Roseboro, 28, of Alexandria was shot Saturday morning at the Extended Stay America on Bluestone Road. He died the next day, according to police. 

A 21-year-old woman and a 35 year-old woman were also injured in the shooting, but their injuries were not life-threatening.

Crystal Nosal, a spokeswoman for the Alexandria Police Department, told The Washington Post the shooting happened either inside a hotel room or just outside a room.

Police have not released any information about a suspect. 

This is the first homicide in the city this year.
