Man Charged With Unlawful Videotaping of Women at Wegmans

A West Virginia man is accused of illegally videotaping women at a Wegmans grocery store in Leesburg, Va.

A store loss prevention officer told police that while monitoring security cameras the afternoon of June 17, he saw a man who appeared to place a shopping basket carrying a small video camera in the area of women wearing dresses.

Investigators found six victims and positively identified two of them.

Police arrested 46-year-old Michael Toler of Kearneysville, W.Va., Monday and charged him with two counts of unlawful filming, videotaping or photographing of another.

He was released on a $2,500 bond pending arraignment.
