1 Killed in Multi-Car Crash in Olney, Police Say

A passenger in one car suffered serious injuries that are not life-threatening, police say

A male was killed in a multi-car crash on Georgia Avenue in Olney, Maryland, Friday night, police say.

Montgomery Country Police say a Honda was trying to make a left turn onto an Intercounty Connecter entrance ramp when it collided with an Infiniti Q50S going the other way. The Infiniti then crashed into Ford Explorer and the Honda careened into a Dodge Challenger. 

The driver of the Honda was killed. Police have not yet released his identity.

A 25-year-old passenger in the Infiniti, a woman from Olney, was seriously hurt and taken to the hospital. Her injuries are not considered life-threatening.

The driver of the Infiniti, Camilo Jose Ahumada Serje, 25, of Olney, was not hurt. The two other drivers involved were not injured.

Police responded just before 9 p.m. Chopper4 video showed a car on the grassy median of the road.

The road was cleared for several hours for cleanup and investigation. Police continue to look into the crash and ask anyone with information to call 240-773-6620.
