Heaviest Rain Over; More Showers Likely Friday

Keep your umbrella handy!

The heaviest rain is over, but Storm Team4 says more showers are still likely.

The early morning rain left area roads slick, and some parts of the D.C. area saw some flooding Friday.

A number of roads in the region are closed due to high water.

Fairfax County police say Woodburn Road at Spicewood Drive in Annandale and Burke Road at Heritage Square Drive in Burke are closed. Remember if you see high water, do not attempt to drive through it.

The weekend will be breezy, but it will be mostly dry. There could be a few passing showers through the day Saturday. The high temperature Saturday will hover around 70 degrees.

Summer weather arrives next week, with temperatures in the 80s for much of the week.
