Authorities are investigating a reported home invasion that left a Harford County man dead.
Deputies were called to a home on Trappe Road shortly after 1 a.m. Monday, where they found 38-year-old Thomas Anderson dead inside the home.
Authorities say witnesses reported that several people broke into the home through the front door and confronted Anderson, who was shot in the upper body.
He died at the scene.
