Veterans and visitors kept from seeing the Vietnam Veterans Memorial Wall because of the government shutdown now have a chance to see a replica.
The Vietnam Veterans Memorial Fund and Georgetown Univesity have brought a traveling wall to the university's campus. "The Wall that Heals" will be on display starting from October 8 through October 14 on the lawn of Healy Hall.
The 250-foot long replica is free and open for anyone to view.
Free shuttle buses will also be available to bring people from the National Mall to campus.
