More than 100 firefighters battled a 2-alarm fire at the Ecuadorean Embassy in the nation's capital.
District of Columbia fire and EMS say the blaze had been brought under control by around 4:30 a.m. Flames could be seen rising from the roof of the structure in the neighborhood, which is home to some of the city's embassies.
Firefighters fought the blaze for about 2 hours, and two firefighters suffered minor burns.
There was no immediate indication of the cause of the fire.
