Two people sustained non-life-threatening injuries in a shooting near Truxton Circle Sunday night.
Police arrived found the two victims by the intersection of New York Avenue NW and N. Capitol Street shortly after 10 p.m.
A woman was shot in the arm and a man was shot in the leg. Both were alert and breathing when authorities arrived. They were taken to a nearby hospital and are expected to survive.
Police have not released any details about what may have led to the shooting. There is no suspect information at this time.
