According to NeighborhoodScout.com, a D.C. intersection is ranked 22 out of 25 "Most Dangerous Neighborhoods."
The site says your chances of becoming a victim at the intersection of Atlantic Street and 4th Street SE is 1 in 14 in one year.
The violent crime rate, calculated through local law enforcement data, is 72.65 per 1,000 people. Ths includes murder, rape, armed robbery and assault.
Community activist Timothy Dawkins, 22, was shot and killed on 4th Street SE last summer.
