D.C. police made an arrest in the death of a 24-year-old man who was shot in Southeast last week.

Timothy Delonte Dawkins was found unresponsive in the 4200 block of 4th Street SE around 7 p.m. Aug. 21.

Neighbors told News4 they heard at least two dozen shots, and police said the victim was struck at least two times in the back.

Dawkins died at the scene.

Friday, police arrested 22-year-old Todd Greene in connection with the case. Green is charged with second-degree murder while armed.
