Dozens of animal carcasses found dumped in a creek in Loudoun County, Va., were all wildlife, investigators said Tuesday.
The Loudoun County Department of Animal Services previously said it had identified at least one dog.
Following a tip from a News4 viewer, the Northern Virginia Bureau found dozens of animal carcasses in the Catoctin Creek near Waterford.
Dave Daley, who works on a construction site nearby, discovered the carcasses.
Authorities will continue to try to find the violator who dumped the animals.
