At Least 3 People Shot With Paintballs in DC

Police in D.C. are searching for the person who shot at least three people with a paintball gun Tuesday night. 

All of the shootings happened between 6:30 and 8:30 p.m. 

The first incident was reported in the 900 block of Jefferson Street NW. The victim was unlocking his home's front door when he saw multiple paintballs hit the door. He was not struck. 

The second shooting happened just a few blocks away, on Kennedy Street NW. The victim told police he heard a vehicle stop behind him. When he turned around, he was struck by multiple paintballs. 

A third man was struck while he was changing the brakes on his car on Longfellow Street NW, police said. The victim said the driver of the dark-colored SUV was laughing as a passenger pointed the paintball gun at him and fired. 

A fourth man was struck four times as he was walking in the 4000 block of 8th Street NE. 

No arrests have been made.
