It is the anniversary of Osama Bin Laden’s death Wednesday, and if you’re taking the Metro, expect to see heightened security.
Officials are not taking any chances on Wednesday and have increased security all around our area.
Police say that although there is not a creditable or specific threat to the system, Al-Qaida has shown interest in anniversaries and specific dates in the past.
Authorities have been walking with K-9 dogs around Metro stations and inside trains.
Metro officials are not saying which stations you’ll see increased security.
