Alex Ovechkin At The Olympics, Part V: Maria, Maria

Maria Kirilenko -- better known to most of you as Washington Capitals forward Alex Ovechkin's girlfriend -- did not go home from the Olympics empty-handed. Sunday, Kirilenko and her doubles partner, Nadia Petrova, won a bronze medal in women's doubles in a 4-6, 6-4, 6-1 victory over Americans Liezel Huber and Lisa Raymond.

Most of the pictures Ovechkin has shared with the world on his Twitter throughout the Olympics have been of him with famous athletes, but thanks to the magic of screencaps, we can see Ovi celebrating his sweetheart's win (for their moving counterparts, I suggest looking at Russian Machine Never Breaks):

Of course, Ovechkin tweeted out a photo of himself with Kirilenko, Petrova and their bronze medals, which you can enjoy at the top of the story.

So, Alex, your girlfriend just won Olympic bronze. What are you gonna do now?

Kirilenko left London with bronze, but she made sure to give her doting boyfriend a "prize" on their way back to Russia:

Is party now.
