A woman was found dead in an Anne Arundel County home Friday, and police are investigating her death as suspicious.
The victim, who has been identified as 37-year-old Nicole Burgess, was found with trauma to the body around 11:30 a.m. in the 3300 block of Royale Glen Court in Davidsonville. Police say that Burgess was the owner of the home where she was found.
A dog was also found dead in the home, authorities said, though it is unclear what, if any connection there is between the two deaths.
Anne Arundel County Police are investigating. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Homicide Unit at 410-222-3453.
