ASHBURN, Va. -- A woman died after falling from a moving car on Route 7 in Ashburn Saturday.
The driver of the car, 44-year-old Darrell Skeeter, of New York, passed the field sobriety test, police said, but alcohol may be related to the death of 35-year-old Sophia Taj.
Authorities aren't sure how fast Skeeter was driving, Loudoun County Sheriff's Office spokesman Kraig Troxell said. The speed limit on Route 7 is 55 mph.
Officials are trying to figure out how the 35-year-old Taj fell out of the car, Troxell said. They also are awaiting autopsy results to determine if she was struck by other vehicles.
