What’s the worst piece of candy you ever got trick or treating as a kid?
We can be sure that even that nastiest, most disgusting piece of candy ever dropped into your candy bag pales in comparison to the treat one Blacksburg, Virginia kid said he received this year: a raw chicken foot.
Randa Freeborn, the child's mother, says she was in disbelief when her six-year-old son discovered the 'treat' on Halloween night.
“He said, ‘Eww, that’s gross!’ Then he threw it at his sister and said, ‘Here, you can have it,’” Freeborn told WSLS TV. “So we were looking at it and thought it was a big candy piece of some kind.”
No candy, just poultry.
Police are investigating the incident, WSLS reported, but they doubt they will ever be able to find the person who thought it was a good idea to give a little kid raw chicken. There were no other complaints or similar reports filed, making it difficult to finger the source of the foot.
