Two Hurt in Hagerstown House Fire

Two people are being treated at a local hospital for injuries they suffered in a house fire Monday morning.

The fire was reported at about 7:30 a.m. at a three-story home on North Avenue, Hagerstown Fire Department Battalion Chief Mark Cleck told the Herald-Mail.

The severity of the victims' injuries is unknown.

Cleck says one of the patients was rescued by firefighters from the second floor of the home.

He says a third person in the home didn't require hospital care.
