A 16-year-old girl was molested by a man who broke into her Centreville, Va. home early Sunday morning, according Fairfax County Police.
The reported home invasion happened in a townhouse community off of Old Centreville Road. The man simply walked into an unlocked door and went into the girl's bedroom, investigators said.
"He reached down and touched her inappropriately," said Fairfax County Police Ofc. Tawny Wright. "[The victim] screamed, and he went running out of the house."
The teen's father, who had been sleeping down the hall, woke up to the scream. He got up in time to see the suspect running out of the house.

Neighbors worry about their own children. Cynthia Perez also has a daughter who is 16. "You just can't allow these things," she told News4. "These are kids. Somebody needs to protect this neighborhood. This is just not right. A 16-year-old kid, are you kidding?"
Police warn neighbors to keep all doors and windows in their homes locked.
