    Some Street Closures, Parking Changes Remain Through Sunday Night After March For Our Lives

    Police released this map of the area where streets will be closed, and later expanded the closed area to include all areas up to the corner of Independence Avenue and First Street Southwest.

    Thousands of students and gun control activists converged on D.C. on Saturday for the March For Our Lives, and although the event has ended, some road closures and parking restrictions will continue through Sunday night.

    These are the changes that remain in effect:

    7 p.m., Thursday, March 22, until 10 p.m., Sunday, March 25:

    • 300 block of Pennsylvania Avenue, NW

    This area will have Emergency No Parking for the duration of the closure.

    7 p.m., Friday, March 23, until 10 p.m., Sunday, March 25:

    • Constitution Ave from 3rd Street, NW to the east crossover with Pennsylvania Avenue, NW
    • Pennsylvania Avenue, NW from 3rd Street, NW to 4th Street, NW

    These areas will have Emergency No Parking for the duration of the closure.
