Numerous roads around the region are closed Friday morning due to high water, flooding concerns and downed trees. If you're headed out, please drive carefully and pay attention to your surroundings.
Remember never to try to drive through standing water. It's impossible to know the condition of a road that's underwater. In addition, currents can be overpowering. Several water rescues have been reported throughout the area Friday morning.
