Drivers can expect delays on the Arlington Memorial Bridge as a two-month construction projects gets under way Monday.
At least one eastbound lane will be closed between weekdays between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m., WJlA-TV reports WJIA-TV, and westbound lanes will be shut down between 9:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m.
Weekend closures will last from 7 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Monday.
During the project, crews will repair the concrete bridge deck, resettle the granite curb, and replace sections of the sidewalk on the bridge connecting Arlington and the District.
The project is expected to be done in November.
