Pedestrian Struck, Killed on Route 50

    Police are looking for the driver who struck and killed a pedestrian on Route 50 in Arlington and then left the scene.

    Police received a call at about 3 a.m. from a driver who was traveling east through the area and saw a body lying in the road.

    The victim, Zorigoo Munkhbayar, 23, of Arlington, was pronounced dead at the scene. All eastbound lanes were closed at Courthouse Road for several hours, but shortly after 7 a.m. officers reopened the far left lane.

    There is no description of the striking vehicle.
