Major rehabilitation projects involving Metro elevators are already under way at Union Station and the Bethesda Metro.
Metro may need to add to its list.
The elevators at five of Arlington's 10 Metro stations were out of service Monday morning.
Metro said there were different issues at each station that caused the outages.
Repairs have already been made at three of the stations.
But, elevators will remain out at the Rosslyn and Pentagon stations until later this week.
