One Killed, Two Injured in Triple Shooting

One man is dead and two others were injured after they were shot while inside a car in southeast Washington late Saturday night.

Police said the incident occurred near 2551 Elvans Road, Southeast, just before midnight. One man was pronounced dead; later Sunday, he was identified as 50-year-old Thomas Stalling of District Heights, Maryland.

Two other men were taken to the hospital. One man has life-threatening injuries while police said the other man should be OK.

Investigators are still looking for clues into the shooting.

D.C. police are offering a reward of up to $25,000 for information leading to an arrest and conviction of someone in connection in the case, as they do for any homicide in the District.
