One person killed in a gun battle inside a Brandywine, Maryland home Saturday afternoon, police said.
Two people broke into a home in the 12600 block of Lusbys Lane just before 12:30 p.m., police said. The intruders shot at the people inside the home, who shot back.
One of the shooters was also killed; the other fled, police said.
One of the residents of the home suffered non-life-threatening injuries and was sent to a hospital.
Police said the shooting did not seem to be random.
