Neighbors' Dispute Turns Deadly in Waldorf

Police in Waldorf are investigating a parking-lot dispute between neighbors that turned deadly Thursday night.

Jessica Nicole Stith, 25, a mother of two, was outside in the townhome complex on Oak Manor Drive at around 11 p.m. She was talking with a neighbor when they got into a disagreement, other neighbors told News4's Shomari Stone.

The neighbor left, but then returned - and the two continued to argue. Neighbors said the argument grew loud and the pair began to fight. Neighbors called police.

When they arrived, they found Stith inside her townhome with wounds that police said were consistent with a stabbing. She was transported to a hospital, but she died.

Police found the neighbor outside. He had a cut to his head and was transported to a hospital for treatment.

Police have not yet released the neighbor's name. The medical examiner will conduct an autopsy as police continue to investigate the case.
