Metro riders at another station sprang into action to stop an alleged thief.
Two men held down the suspect Tuesday night at the Arlington National Cemetery station until police arrived.
The man who snapped the pictures said he saw a man darting between cars, then a woman yelling that he'd taken her phone.
Metro transit police arrested the suspect.
ARL Now reports that the man is 17 years old and is charged with robbery.
