A man and woman were stabbed in Southeast D.C. Tuesday evening, about a half mile east of the Benning Road Metro station.
The stabbing occurred about 9 p.m. on the 5000 block of Ayers Place SE, the Metropolitan Police Department said. The male victim was in serious condition. The woman's injuries were less serious, and non-life-threatening, police said.
No information was released on what preceded the attack.
