Washington Business Journal : "Nationwide home values fell 3 percent in the first quarter of this year, according to real estate tracking company Zillow.com. Home values fell 1 percent between February and March and 8.2 percent compared to March 2010. The cumulative decline in home values since the market peak is now 29.5 percent."

HUMAN-POWERED HELICOPTER
Washington Post: " With their eyes on a $250,000 prize, members of a University of Maryland team are preparing for this week’s first test flight of their human-powered helicopter. “Everyone is excited,” said senior research scientist V.T. Nagaraj, an adviser to the team of 50 graduate and undergraduate students at Maryland’s engineering school. A product of two years’ effort, their copter is powered by hand- as well as foot-pedaling and features special carbon fiber construction and longer rotor blades than a regular helicopter."
