The husband of a woman found with apparent trauma to her body in a Montgomery County apartment last week is wanted for first-degree murder, police said.
Family of the woman called 911 shortly after 11 a.m. April 18 asking authorities to check on her welfare at a home in the 3600 block of Bel Pre Road, police said.
Officers responded and found the body of the woman inside.
Police suspect 30-year-old Ruel Francis Dempster II in his wife's death.
Police did not release any information on the possible cause of death. The woman's body was taken to the chief medical examiner's office for an autopsy.
