How to Save a Life

Are you Jonathan Haupt's bone marrow match?

Jonathan Haupt loves hiking the D.C. area trails, playing sports and spending time with his wife and family. He's 32 years old, but he's facing a situation that few people around his age are forced to confront. In March, Jonathan was diagnosed with Acute Myelogenous Leukemia, a very agressive blood cancer. Chemo was not enough to knock his cancer into remission -- he needs a bone marrow transplant, but there are no matches on the registry.

Now here's where you step in. DKMS, a leukemia organization, is holding a potential donor drive for Jonathan. Actually, three of them. All it takes is a simply cheek swab, and you'll be added to the donation registry. If you're a match for Jonathan or anyone else, you'll be literally saving a life.
