Giant is removing some milk from its stores following concerns over the product's shelf life.
The withdrawal of the products includes gallon and half-gallon containers of Maola and Giant brand milk. The company says the issue does not pose a health risk, but a black ring could develop on the container after its been opened, causing the milk to spoil earlier than expected.
All the affected containers have sell by dates of March 5 or earlier.
Customers with affected containers of milk can return them to Giant for a full refund.
