Ex-Va. GOP Chair Ignored By Wife

Mrs. Ex-Va. GOP Chair withdraws from House of Delegates race

Colorful Virginia political failure Jeffrey Frederick, a.k.a. The Twitter Idiot, has failed at something else. The man who was ousted as state Republican chairman earlier this month after losing everything for his party and who resigned his seat in the House of Delegates before that apparently cannot even force his wife to follow simple orders.

After resigning his House seat in February, Frederick sent a weird e-mail to his seven supporters telling them to urge his wife to run for his seat in the next election. It was incredibly inappropriate for Frederick to ask other people to get involved in one of his marital fights like this -- keep it in the bedroom, right? -- but The Twitter Idiot is not known for his discretion.

Amy Frederick had filed initial papers to enter the race until she recently realized, good lord, why am I taking orders from this failed husband?

Amy Frederick, the wife of ousted state Republican Party Chairman Jeffrey M. Frederick, has decided not to run for the Prince William County House of Delegates seat that her husband is vacating.

"Today, it is with mixed emotions that I announce my withdrawal from the race to succeed Jeff in the House of Delegates," Amy Frederick wrote in an e-mail to supporters and news organizations.

Her account gets a bit snippy too!

“Unfortunately, some in the leadership of the Republican Party have demonstrated a greater interest in playing politics than in advancing our conservative principles and making life better for the families and the citizens of Virginia,” she wrote.

Blah blah blah whatever. The important point here is that Jeff Frederick is a loser again who can't even get his wife to obey him. Oh, we feel for you, Twitter Idiot.
