Employee Shot During Liquor Store Robbery

    Police are searching for two gunmen in connection with a robbery at a liquor store where an employee was shot.

    The Glenarden Police Department said two masked men entered the A-1 Liquor & Restaurant on Martin Luther King Jr. Highway in Lanham, Md., shortly before 6 p.m. Saturday and announced a robbery.

    Police said one suspect held several employees at gunpoint while the other went behind the counter and took the money.

    As they began to leave, police said one gunman suddenly fired a shot, striking an employee in the leg. The victim was taken to Prince George’s County Hospital, where he is in stable condition.
