D.C. Police Officers Injured in Northeast Collision

Other vehicle going wrong way

Two D.C. police officers were injured when their cruiser was struck by another vehicle Monday evening.

The cruiser was struck by a vehicle going the wrong way in the 1900 block of Capitol Avenue in Northeast. It's unclear why the car was going the wrong direction.

The officers' injuries were not life-threatening.
