District of Columbia police are investigating two overnight homicides.

Police say officers responded to the 3200 block of 28th Street Southeast at roughly 1 a.m. on Saturday after hearing gunshots in the area. Police say while canvassing the area the officers found a man suffering from a gunshot wound. Police say the man died at the hospital.

Three hours later at roughly 4 a.m., officers were called to the 2400 block of Elvans Road Southeast for a report of a man down. When they arrived, the officers found a man, identified as Deontray Ingram, 22, of southeast Washington, fatally shot. His body was transported to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner for an autopsy.

Police are offering a reward of up to $25,000 for information that leads to an arrest and conviction in each of the case.
