A new billboard in downtown Washington, D.C., is raising some eyebrows. It advertises a handgun shooting seminar that's coming to the area later this month.
"Hey D.C., it's time for your first shot," it reads.
The billboard is attached to the Massachusetts House apartment building at 1234 Massachusetts Ave. NW.
It's sponsired by the National Shooting Sports Foundation, a trade group for the gun industry.
The organization will host a tour in the Washington area Aug. 24-28, to give people "an opportunity to give shooting a try." It says firearms and ammunition will be provided for non-gun owners.
