Couple Robbed at Gunpoint in Their Bethesda Home

Masked men forced their way into a Bethesda home Monday afternoon when the residents were at home.

Just before 2 p.m., two men broke in to the home on Farnham Drive in the Wildwood Manor neighborhood, robbed the couple that lives there at gunpoint and fled in their Cadillac Escalade, which they ditched a few blocks away.

Police are searching the SUV for fingerprints and any evidence that might help them identify the men, who they consider to be armed and dangerous.

Neighbors were surprised by the crime, as crimes, especially involving guns, are rare in the neighborhood.
