The body of 67-year-old Phillip Welsh was found inside his Silver Spring home Thursday after he failed to show up to work that day.
According to police, crews responded to the 2000 block of Hanover Street around 2:30 p.m. after Welsh's co-worker, a fellow taxi driver, found his body inside his home. The co-worker told police he was worried about Welsh because he didn't come to work Wednesday.
Welsh's death has been ruled a homicide.
No suspect or motive information has been released.
