The body of a man was found on the edge of a wooded area in Frederick on Thursday morning, police said.
The woman who discovered the body was walking along a bike path on Westbiew Drive behind the Westview Promenade when she saw the man's body and called police, authorities said.
The body is that of a black male wearing jeans and a sweatshirt. Authorities said he was found lying face down with no visible signs of injury.
