Billy Joel will perform at Nationals Park in July, the first time the singer will make a solo headlining appearance at the ballpark.
The Washington Nationals and concert promoter Live Nation announced the concert Thursday. It will take place on July 26.
Joel, a six-time Grammy award winner, performed alongside Elton John at the park in 2009. That concert was the first the park hosted after it opened in 2008.
Tickets for Nationals season plan holders will go on sale Jan. 30. Tickets go on sale to the general public on Feb. 1.
