Police: Suspect and victim argued at suspect’s home

A District Heights, Md., man is charged with second-degree murder in connection with a stabbing at a dinner party.

Jarhea Carter, 18, was arrested Monday by Prince George’s County police.

Carter is accused of stabbing 36-year-old Lamont Fleet Saturday night during a gathering at Carter’s home.

Officers found Fleet lying in a parking lot at 3200 block of Prince Rainer Place in District Heights around 9:45 p.m. on Saturday. Fleet died at hospital from his injuries.
