$25K Reward Offered in Mansion Handyman Slaying

A large cash reward is being offered for any information leading to an arrest in the murder of a Virginia man.

Jose Cardona, 39, of Manassas, was killed last week at a home where he worked after two intruders tried to break into the house and shot Cardona.  He was pronounced dead at the scene, leaving behind a wife and two children.

The suspects ran through the woods next to the property, police said. A witness told police he saw a man get into the bed of a white pickup truck as the truck drove away on Compton Road.

There was already a $1,000 reward being offered by the Fairfax Crime Solvers for information about the case. Crime Solvers has now stepped up efforts to find the two people responsible for Cardona’s death. They are offering an additional private cash reward of $25,000 for information that leads to an arrest, according to a statement from Crime Solvers.

Fairfax Crime Solvers urge anyone who witnessed or may have information about the suspects to call 1-866-411-TIPS or text “TIP187” along with your message to CRIMES (274637).  You can also contact them on their website.
