2 Hurt in GW Parkway Crash; Lanes Closed Near Reagan National Airport

Two people were hurt in a crash near Reagan National Airport on Friday morning, spurring an investigation that closed lanes for hours during the morning commute.

All lanes reopened about 10:30 a.m. after an earlier crash shut down the road and injured two people.

Cars on the northbound lanes of the GW Parkway were turned around onto southbound Marina Drive as the U.S. Park Police investigated.

The southbound lanes of the GW Parkway were not affected.

It's unclear what caused the crash, but police say one victim is in serious condition.
