Toykia Keys and her 14-year-old son, Kamany Love, were killed in a crash overnight.

A woman and her teen son died when the vehicle they were in rear-ended a tractor-trailer on the Outer Loop of the Beltway.

A northbound Kia Rio driven by 39-year-old Toykia Kenya Keys of Fort Washington, Md., struck the tractor-trailer at St. Barnabas Road in Oxon Hill, Md., before 1 a.m. Monday.

Keys and 14-year-old Kamany Love were pronounced dead at the scene, Maryland State Police said. Their families have been notified.

The driver of the tractor-trailer was not injured.

Speed and aggressive driving by Keys may have been factors in the crash, authorities said.
