ADELPHI, Md. -- Acting Prince George's County Police Chief Roberto Hylton ordered a nightclub closed after a weekend shooting.
A gang member shot a man in the leg several times early Sunday morning outside the Setting, officials said. Hylton shut the club down Wednesday afternoon.
"I'm serving notice to all establishments in Prince George's County that condones and promotes an environment of violence that this department and this chief is not going to tolerate," he said.
Prince George's county police said they have a no-tolerance policy for businesses that promote violence.
Authorities had received many complaints about the club.
