On the evening of July 23, 2007, in the hours leading up to Lohan’s arrest on drunken driving and cocaine possession, the defendants claim Lohan was drinking alcohol at a party in Malibu.

In their suit, the three men claim that Nigro and his friend, who is identified by just the name “Dan,” chose to leave the party and got into an SUV. It was around this time, Taryn, Dan’s girlfriend, and Lohan’s assistant exited the house followed by the star. The men claim Lohan followed Taryn “speaking angrily” at her. Taryn reportedly got in her car, at which point, the men allege in their suit, Lohan “jumped into the open driver’s seat and started the vehicle with the intent of chasing Taryn.”

They claim Lohan was “highly intoxicated, as well as angry and aggressive.” The men claim they “cried out for Lohan to stop.”

Nigro claims he “attempted to stop her driving his vehicle by reaching over to grab the steering wheel from the passenger’s seat,” the suit reads. They claim she threatened to “sue him if he did.”

After losing Taryn on Pacific Coast Highway, the men claim Lohan drove to Taryn’s mother’s house. Not finding the assistant, Lohan hit the road again according to the suit, and ended up at the Santa Monica Police station where she was arrested following a field sobriety test.

The men claim Lohan’s actions placed them in harm, deprived them of their personal liberty, and went beyond “reasonable bounds of decency or civilized conduct.”

The men are asking for a judgment exceeding $25,000.
